The 12 mm Inox Wing by Raumer is a plate specifically designed for caving: the orientation of the ring positions the carabiner operationally perpendicular to the rock surface. This results in high performance when force is applied downwards. This plate allows for rope retrieval in a top rope setup from either side.
WARNING: The plate is made of AISI 316L stainless steel - Marine version, which is further resistant to corrosion from agents found near marine environments. Raumer employs a three-phase treatment for marine stainless steel: Solution Treatment - Pickling - Passivation. The stylized fish icon with "INOX" written inside distinguishes this plate from its normal version. At the bottom, you will find information about the technology used for this type of product.
Raumer is a company based in Schio, in the province of Vicenza, specialized in the production of hardware for various sports: climbing, mountaineering, canyoning, and caving. The company was founded in 1992 by Cesare Raumer, the owner. He combined his deep passion for the mountains, nature, and caving with mechanical technology. The strength of the company from the beginning has been the use of AISI 304 stainless steel in the production of anchors. Currently, following continuous experiences and acquired knowledge, AISI 316L stainless steel, which is even more resistant to abrasion, is used. Raumer is synonymous with quality, safety, and above all MADE IN ITALY: indeed, all production takes place in the Vicenza facility.
