The 10 mm Stainless Steel Wing from Raumer is a plate specifically designed for caving: the orientation of the loop ensures that the carabiner is in an operational position perpendicular to the rock surface. This leads to high performance when force is applied downwards. Ideal for retrieving rope with a top-rope system, from either side.
WARNING: The plate is made of AISI 316L stainless steel - Marina version, which is further resistant to corrosion caused by agents present near marine environments. Raumer carries out a three-phase treatment for marine stainless steel: Solution Heat Treatment - Pickling - Passivation. Raumer is a company based in Schio, in the province of Vicenza, specializing in the production of hardware for various sports: climbing, mountaineering, canyoning, and caving. The company was founded in 1992 by Cesare Raumer, the owner. He has been able to combine his deep passion for the mountain, nature, and caving with mechanical technology. The strong point has always been the use of AISI 304 stainless steel in the production of anchors. Currently, following continuous experiences and knowledge gained, AISI 316L stainless steel, which is even more resistant to abrasion, is used. Raumer, therefore, stands for quality, safety and, above all, MADE IN ITALY: the entire production takes place in the Vicenza plant.
