Kong Lys ramponi automatici
The Kong Lys automatic crampons are made of steel and designed for high-level mountaineering, mixed climbing, and ice climbing, featuring a twelve-point structure.
The automatic version of the Lys ensures the best possible attachment to boots that have cutouts for the metal front cage to fit and an adjustable heel clip. A fabric strap will help prevent you from losing the crampon in case of accidental release.
Made from carbon steel, they are durable and ultra-lightweight, weighing only 740 grams.
The innovative rigid/foldable linking system allows you to fold the crampon onto itself, reducing its bulk for transport while ensuring maximum reliability and stability during progression.
Kong Lys come equipped with removable front and rear antibott, which prevent the uncomfortable and dangerous buildup of snow beneath the crampon, a double size connection bar (37/43) (42/47), and a Cordura pouch. Please note that the Lys for size 47 is at the very limit of the extension.
The Kong Lys are also available in a semi-automatic version for boots that allow rear attachment.
As can be seen from this image, the rear attachment is secured to a hole on the front of the heel piece. To perfectly adapt the boot to the crampon, it is also possible to move the attachment forward and secure it to the second hole available.
